Full triads
Strum the D, G, and B strings together with four downstrokes per measure.
Fretboard Resource Series · Episode 01
A one-page practice sheet for the Fm–A♭–E♭–B♭ progression: four ways to use compact triad shapes on the D, G, and B strings without defaulting to plain block-chord strumming.
What’s actually inside
Strum the D, G, and B strings together with four downstrokes per measure.
Thin each chord down to two notes and alternate them as eighth notes.
Use the upper two notes of each shape for a brighter, more melodic texture.
Skip the G string and alternate the outside chord tones for a wider interval.
The sheet also encourages starting each two-note exercise on the higher string to create another variation without learning a new shape.
